The client

Dr Peter Johnston is a well respected and renowned doctor practicing medicine since 1965.  He specialises in alternative and holistic medicines such as hypnotherapy to cure a range of problems and was a pioneer for the industry in Victoria.  He recently wrote a book titled 'The Eagles Way' which talks about the importance of love in heathcare.

The Project

Pete wanted a simple website to be an advertisement for his book, medical career and also his holistic medical practice.  He wanted users to be able to purchase his book from the website but didn’t want to deal with the processing of the any sales rather wanting it to be handled by their publisher.

What we delivered

Pete was a great customer.  He came to us with an idea, albeit not concrete, on design and had content prepared.    He didn’t want anything fancy-schmancy but we ensured that if he does in the future then we can use his existing site to implement any new features such as a booking form.   By having a client who had a good picture of what they wanted helped us design and develop a site in really quick time.  The total turn around for the website was less than 3 weeks.

1.    ReflexMedia designed and deveopled drpeterjohnston.com.au.  
2.    We made it easy for Pete to add content to his site by installing the Wordpress CMS. 
3.    We provide ongoing Web Management for Pete
4.    Developed and designed a customed website template.
5.    Integrated a customised @drpeterjohnston.com.au email into his current email system.
6.    Ensured users could easily purchase The Eagles Way from his website.
7.    Provided SEO by registering the website with the main search engines, integrating it with Google Webmaster Tools and also with Google Analytics.
